In the African part of the world, marriage is a social affair and as such it brings together families, friends and workmates to pull resources to makes sure the wedding is a success. However, in recent past it has become unbecoming to give people short notice of your weddings. You date in secrecy, propose in secrecy, no sign or symptom of a wedding then tomorrow you announce your wedding and further add people to a group a month or two to the event.
No fundamental respect, value for people’s time and resources. Please if you can’t give people at least 6 to 4 months’ notice of your wedding kindly forever hold your peace. Listen there are a lot of committements to give to and as stewards of God they sure do desire to give generously not constrained. I know God miraculously revealed her to you or brought your paths together but if you desire people to be apart and make the day colourful give them early notice.
Liquidity risk is real like basic financial management would revel. As adult in a bid to mitigate it, financial prudence is needed. Don’t be a negating factor towards rebating this risk.
