I believe the silliest statement for lack of a better word that we came up with in the manosphere is to ask ladies “What do you bring to the table” for the single reason that we seem to allude that the table is something they own -. We give them the power to ownership of an item they don’t possess.

The genesis of this confusion can be traced from the fundamentals of “What is the table?” in the first place. If we can answer that, then we will be able to deal with the issue at hand.
